Brighten UP Your Eyes
Putting on eye make-up can be one of the most confusing
things for a woman.
When you put on eye makeup, does it make your eyes look
alive and refreshed or does it make your eyes look more tired and dull? How do
you know if you're doing your eyes a disfavor when applying color to it? Well,
here's easy eye make up tips to brightening up your eyes and making them look
more flattering:
After you have put on foundation or eye primer, choose a
brightener such as these: Benefit Miss Popularity or Physicians Formula Eye
brightener on the brow bone. These products are very subtle but does a really
good job in giving a pretty, soft glow. For evening makeup, apply the eye
brightener over the entire eyelid as well. This way, the dim lights will pick
up on the subtle hints of light reflecting pigments in these products and make
your eyes stand out.
Sometimes, applying dark or smoky eyeshadow is not enough
and can produce a darkening effect which makes your eyes appear smaller and
emphasize the area surrounding the eye and not the eye itself. This is where
eye brighteners can make a huge difference. The wonderful thing in using a
brightener is it makes up for lack in makeup artistry expertise.
So liven up those eyes and bring them out instead of
making them look small, tired and dull. After all, the purpose of makeup is to
enhance, not diminish beauty, and help raise your self esteem.
